Following NUS Museum’s inaugural contemporary Chinese art exhibition Moving On in 2003, the exhibition aims to re-examine the issues and trace the developments within the field of Chinese contemporary art beyond year 2000. Reconfiguration starts with works within the Lee Kong Chian Collection and charts a narrative in relation to increasing accelerated growth of China and Chinese contemporary culture. The exhibition shall feature of works by artists Cao Fei, Cheng Guan Feng, Hai Bo, Xu Bing, Fang Lijun and Yue Minjun.
